Kongre ve Sergi Saray\u0131’nda gerçekle\u015ftirilen da\u011f\u0131t\u0131m töreninde konu\u015fan Seçer, akülü araç konusunda çok say\u0131da yurtta\u015f\u0131n kendilerinden talepleri oldu\u011funu söyledi. Seçer, “Kullan\u0131m\u0131 rahat, kendilerini yormayacak \u015fekilde dizayn edilmi\u015f akülü araçlar, onlar\u0131n ya\u015fam\u0131n\u0131 kolayla\u015ft\u0131r\u0131yor. Bizim bu taleplere yeterince cevap veremedi\u011fimizin fark\u0131nday\u0131m. Göreve yeni gelmem bir gerekçe de\u011fil. Bundan sonraki süreçte ne yapaca\u011f\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 konu\u015fmam\u0131z laz\u0131m” ifadelerini kulland\u0131.<\/p>\n

“Mersin’de minimum 150 bin engelli yurtta\u015f\u0131m\u0131z var” <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Mersin’de engelli yurtta\u015f say\u0131s\u0131n\u0131n az\u0131msanamayacak kadar yüksek oldu\u011funa dikkat çeken Seçer, “Mersin’de nüfusumuzun yüzde 8 ile yüzde 10'luk bir dilimi engelli yurtta\u015f\u0131m\u0131zdan olu\u015fuyor. Ama bunun çok daha dü\u015fük bir seviyede sistemimizde kay\u0131tl\u0131 olan yurtta\u015flar\u0131m\u0131z var. Bizde kay\u0131t miktar\u0131 16 bin yurtta\u015f\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n engelli oldu\u011fu yönünde. Ama minimum 150 bin ve daha üzeri engelli yurtta\u015f\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n oldu\u011funu biliyoruz. Daha engelsiz bir \u015fehir, bir Mersin gayretinde olaca\u011f\u0131z. Engelli yurtta\u015f\u0131m\u0131z belediyesinin, belediye ba\u015fkan\u0131n\u0131n, devletinin yan\u0131nda oldu\u011funu hmeli. Sosyal devlete, medeni devlete, güçlü devlete yak\u0131\u015fan budur” diye konu\u015ftu.<\/p>\n

Büyük\u015fehir Belediyesi olarak dezavantajl\u0131 gruplara, engelli yurtta\u015flara, çocuklara ve kad\u0131nlara çok daha farkl\u0131 davranmak zorunda olduklar\u0131n\u0131 vurgulayan Seçer, “Biz de e\u011fer güçlü, sosyal, medeni ve asaletli bir toplum ve devletsek bu konuda çok hassas davranmam\u0131z laz\u0131m. Birçok alandan fedakarl\u0131k yap\u0131p, bu yurtta\u015flar\u0131m\u0131za bizim kaynak ay\u0131rmam\u0131z laz\u0131m. Ben belediyeye geldi\u011fim ilk günden beri israf\u0131n kar\u015f\u0131s\u0131nda olaca\u011f\u0131m\u0131n alt\u0131n\u0131 kal\u0131n çizgilerle çizen bir belediye ba\u015fkan\u0131y\u0131m. Ama dezavantajl\u0131 gruplara, ba\u015fta engelli yurtta\u015flar\u0131m\u0131za, çocuklar\u0131m\u0131za, kad\u0131nlar\u0131m\u0131za çok daha farkl\u0131 davranmak zorunday\u0131z. Onlara bonkör olmak zorunday\u0131z. Onlara daha fazla bütçe ve zaman ay\u0131rmak zorunday\u0131z” \u015feklinde konu\u015ftu.<\/p>\n

Fabrika Müdürü Haluk Uçak ise engelli bireylerin say\u0131s\u0131n\u0131n dünya nüfusu içerisinde önemli bir paya sahip oldu\u011funu ve engelli bireylerin hayat\u0131n\u0131 kolayla\u015ft\u0131rmak için tüm payda\u015flar\u0131n sorumluluklar\u0131 oldu\u011funu ifade etti. Uçak, “Dünya nüfusunun yüzde 30’u engelli bireylerimizden olu\u015fmaktad\u0131r. Bu anlamda hepimize çok i\u015f dü\u015fmektedir.
